Samantha Bosworth BSc, MSc

Sam holds an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follows their guidelines and codes of ethics. Sam also holds a BSc First Class (Hons) degree in Psychology.

Sam has a volunteering background working at a domestic abuse charity supporting victims of domestic violence, and as a mentor and a teaching assistant supporting disadvantaged and disengaged young people. Sam has also worked as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor supporting university students with an aim to reduce the impact their mental health might have on them and for them to achieve their full potential whilst at university.

As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Sam combines the Person-Centred Approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Attachment Theory. Working integratively enables every therapy session to be tailored to the individual's needs. Sam offers a safe, non-judgemental, confidential and supportive environment whereby clients are able to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences and work towards their individual goals.

Some of the issues Sam has experience working with, include but are not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Self-Harming, Family and Relationship issues, Grief and Loss, Eating Disorders, Body related issues, OCD, Addiction, Trauma and Abuse.

Laura Atkins BSc, MSc

Laura holds a MSc in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follows their guidelines and codes of ethics. Laura also holds a BSc First Class (Hons) degree in Psychology.

Laura’s integrative way of working is based on clinically tested psychological treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory and Person-Centred Therapy. The combination of these approaches enables Laura to effectively engage with clients based on their individual needs. Laura will work with you in a non-judgemental, safe and supportive environment to help you identify and work towards your goals, at your own pace.

Laura has worked within a range of organisational contexts including private practice, the charity sector and secondary schools. Laura is experienced in working with a complex range of issues, including trauma, sexual abuse and rape, anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bereavement, anger and stress management.
